I've passed this info on to the children of siblings and cousins over the years whenever they were working on school reports about the pilgrims. Now it's finally posted for anyone who cares to share it.

Thank you for posting this :) I'm a very distant relative, descended from William and Mary Brewster's daughter, Patience, who married Gov. Thomas Prince. Would you happen to have a larger version of the letter you provided above? I'd love to save a more readable version. Thank you again!

DeleteMy Mother was Anna Maxine Pendley youngest of 13 children born to Otto Pendley and Eva Hudnal Pendley. They are from Muhlenburg County Kentucky. They have all passed on. Their children and grandchildren are of course still living. I had always been told there was a Pendley Castle in Wales which there is no record of. Thete is however Pendley Manor. Do you think we could be related? Most of our Pendleys were very tall and were dark complected and had brown or green eyes and had large noses. My Mom however was the runt of her brothers n sisters.
ReplyDeleteI descend from William Brewster's daughter Mercy Mary who married Edward Arnold. I am still gobsmacked at learning that I descend from William Brewster who came from the UK on the Mayflower to Plymouth, Mass. in 1620. Thank you Lynda for making this beautiful genealogy discovery available to me.
